of grades and scouting

I got all of my grades back this morning. :) I have NEVER gotten such good grades in college (or have gotten grades back this quickly). I still think that my profs and GSIs graded papers too easily (I apparently have high standards and would be an evil grader), but I'm still quite proud of myself. I've never studied so productively during finals. I'm sure the fact that my finals were spread out helped me immensely, but I think I've earned the right to be pleased. I don't want to post what I got (I hate it when people keep bragging about their good grades when I do poorly, and I'm trying very hard not to brag too much more than I already am), but I just wanted the world to know that I am NOT always angsty and that I didn't screw up too much this time. For once, something happy. :)

Biwak--Polish scouting camp--is coming up this weekend. I'm supposed to help think of a family feud type game about requirements. After talking to Steve about dingers and honkers, I decided to get doggie squeaky toys for buzzers. There will be four teams, and the first team that wants to answer will have to squeak in first. Kasia M. also suggested that we tie ribbons around their heads to differentiate the different stopnie, but I'm thinking of getting the more wirey party decorations with stars and things. I used to make crowns out of those in high school (I'd make a wreath of star wirey stuff and twist ribbon around it and tie long strands of ribbon to the wreath as a tail). Hmm. Perhaps I'll make those for the instructorki... I'm really excited about picking out squeaky toys. And making crowns for everyone. Heehee. I'm sure the harcerze will be thrilled. :)
