Whew. My hands are actually hurting from all the typing today, and that's pretty unusual for me. I was going to say that I've had longer writing days, but reviewing my spreadsheet makes a liar out of me. I've had one longer day, and not by much. What I haven't had is a longer week. At 13,531 words (5,000 of them today), this is officially the writing-est week since I started keeping track. I keep double checking, thinking I must have entered a number wrong, but nope. Started the week at just past 36,500 and I'm ending it at just past 50,000. OK, now I know why my hands hurt.
I know this coming week won't be able to match it. For one thing, no holiday. For another, work will be insane even for this insane time of year. Still, here it is. 50,000 words. The point where I get bored and wander off, most times. Every time to date.
