Wow, just one more month, and I can finally get out of this place. It’s obviously bitter sweet because now one cannot hide behind the “safety” of school anymore, and actually have to go out and face the world in all it’s glory. Job hunting sucks. And I really don’t want to work for those corporate dental offices…I can’t stand those. I went to an open house for one of them, and I couldn’t wait to get the hell outta there. To me, they’re run by greedy business people who aren’t even dentist, they just hire dentists to make them money. I can’t stand it. I want to be able to have a say in what I do, not just be mindless mill worker.
Last Friday, I made a grown 41 year old man cry. He kept telling me that I gave him his smile back. That’s why I can’t work at those corporate places, it takes the humanity out of dentistry. I’d tell myself that they can’t be all bad, but it’s just not for me.
My goal is to open up my own practice by the time I’m 30. Ugh, I really don’t wanna think about it, but I’d seriously wouldn’t wanna turn 30…but it’s gonna eventually happen. So sad. Ideally, I would want to open up a practice before I’m 30, but I’m giving myself some leeway just in case. Still don’t know where I’d open a practice. It’s so goddamn saturated in socal. I’d love to stay in socal, but I really have to look into it. My next choice would to be in norcal. Norcal ain’t all that bad I’d imagine, nice clean air, not as hot. But everything is so convenient down in socal. Hm, we’ll see.
I just paid back a chunk of my federal loans to the government to help stop the growing interest..most of my loans are private, so there’s still much to pay back. Should have done it long ago since I had enough money back then too. Damnit, so poor now. But the money was just lying there, so I figured why not, it’s time for me to work soon anyway.
Resident Evil 7 is rumored to be announced at E3. A little than a month away, can't wait! Rumor has it that Alice from the RE movies might be in Mercenaries mode. If that's the case, I hope nothing else. I hate those RE movies...they're such shit, and Mila and her stupid director husband have no right to request the Alice character to be in the games. So stupid. The only characters that are okay in those RE movies is Jill and Claire. Anyway, rumor also has it that Mercenaries mode will go all out, with past characters as well. I really hope so! Hopefully since it'll be on the Ps4, they can afford to add different animations for both the male and female characters. So exciting! Saw a twitter tweet of the voice actor for Chris Redfield in the same picture with Ali Hillis, Lightning's VA apparently at their work. Wouldn't that be amazing to have an RE character voiced by Ali Hillis...One can only hope. I mean, it's totally possible. Like the VAs for Snow and Serah from FFXIII were both in RE6...granted they worked on past PS2 games together as well. Laura Bailey and Troy Baker are really good VAs. Actually! Just did some searching, and Ali Hillis did do Jessica's voice in Resident Evil Revelations! She sounded so different from Lightning that I couldn't tell, but now going back to it, I can totally hear Ali Hillis' voice. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....this is exciting. People were speculating when Jessica was gonna make her return to Resident Evil. Gasp! Maybe I'm on to something??!
