I wish i was in a place ~mentally~ to appreciate the words you write. I don't know if I ever will be there again, all I know is that my baby is dying. The only thing i can do for her is say sweet things to her, give her all the blankies and pillows she needs and give her enough medication that she isn't suffering too much, and all the love she ( Read more... )

Vet called, Athena does have bone cancer in her left scapula. There's not much we can do for her, she's not a candidate for amputation because she's so lame in her hindquarters now.

This starts out on 10/14/06 as the lump we found on her side (just two days after my bday, great). Progresses to November 14th then November 20 & 21, The 20th pics are the shots of the lump the day before the surgery, while the 21st pics are pictures of her after she's gnawed her side, after being poked and prodded so much on 11/20 by the vet.
