So, I took Friday, 7/18, off to take Perseus to the vet specialist surgeon in San Antonio. They charged us $770 for diagnostics to make sure there wasn't anything else wrong (such as cancer in lungs, prostate, liver, kidneys, spleen ... ) with him that would prevent him from having the surgery for his lameness in his back end. We put Molly to sleep 07/03/08 (facial/bone cancer) -she went peacefully, she never left my arms from the time we left the house, I couldn't bear to put her in a carrier for the trip and Johnny drove so she slept in my lap the whole way.
