Benji is officially done with K-Math! We wont start First grade math until after Christmas break is over and for his reward I'm going to buy him the DVD Horton Hears a Who.

Benji's just zoooming through Math!  we've already completed 2 units of math and this is just the second day :D!  We're going slower on the phonics cause there are a few points they make that I haven't covered with him regarding each individual sounds.. like what words END with that sound, not just begin with.  I think this focus on sounds is also ( Read more... )

I'm getting a little nervous as on the lists there's a lot of talk about shipments being delayed this year due to K12 adding a lot more virtual schools and switching warehouses/supplies/etc.. something...  We're one of the later starting schools.. but i haven't heard a peep from any one.  I finally got a Booster kit to promote WAVA.. but.. nothing ( Read more... )

Since his "official" school through WAVA will be starting next week, we decided to start getting in the mood for school. I ordered the K12 Music lessons for him to start a month early since WAVA will *NEVER* pay for music.
