Week 4 one whole month! yay!

Foreign Language Sampler - Half way done with German!
Chem - Learned Be (beryllium)
Music - Learning difference between Tempo, rhythm (I hate trying to spell that word), and the Beat.  Before it was learning melodic direction and Pitches.
Reading - He's starting to really sail through the Bob Books - "Ok, Kids", "Rub-A-Dub", "Go Bus" and "The Red Hen"
Sight words - Practice week.  On the weekend added - "Stop, go, bus, zoo, or, to, in, it, of"  he already knows most of these, but i never made cards for them.  I also found the K12 K-sight list and added those to my deck to teach him.  He also organized all the ones he knows alphabetically in the card file box.  
PE - Gym, Kung Fu (which might be moved to Wednesday) and Soccer. 
Math - K12 Beta Flash linear game.  has a cute little froggy that jumps over numbers to count by 2's, 5's, and 10's.  Also does addition, subtraction, and multiplication.  Beta game for next year's math program update.
MISC - Time telling practice.
          -  Went to the Klondike Gold Rush Museum
          -  Went to the International District NIght Festival

Today the OnLine School site is activated for his regular K classes.  YAY!  School doesn't officially start for two more weeks .. but we can do the assessments and see where he needs to start.. we've zoomed through 8 math lessons (what comes before? after? middle?!?"  jeeze he could do this at 3!) and did the first 2 phonic lessons.  wheeeeeeeeee!

We've got the funds!  and now we're thinking of the time.. hopeing to hit Disneyland in the mid of october :D
