theamazingk was right! I sent this via TPT's/KTCA's website mail form.

Dear TPT/KTCA,

I had a very UNPLEASANT conversation with your receptionist this morning about your decision to move Mister Rogers' Neighborhood to your digital-only station feed. When I told her that I didn't like YOUR decision to remove the program from your main analog channel, all ( Read more... )

Mr. Rogers is only on here once a week, on Sunday mornings at 8:30 AM.

Apparently he's not the flavor of the month. Too bad Noggin has turned into Nick Jr. 2. The old school Noggin from 5 or 6 years ago would be a perfect home for vintage Mr. Rogers eps.

Hi Mike,

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood has been on Monday through Friday on KTCA/TPT until this week --;. Now they too will be showing Mister Rogers only on the weekend once a week despite the promise of their president and head that they will NEVER take Mister Rogers off the air after Fred Rogers died. Apparently, they found the perfect loophole to that promise by putting Mister Rogers on their HD only channel ;b!

Oh I am so very disappointed! I can't believe that TPT would do that. Thanks for trying Sonia! It seems that this is something of a losing battle. I am not sold on a lot of the current programming. Our son loves Mr. Rogers- a lot of kids do. But - guess that showing a program that is a proven winner and doesn't cost a huge amount of money loses out to lower quality new stuff.
Huh. Thanks for following up Sonia!

If you have analog cable, the digital converter box is the *only* way to get digital from Comcast. The box costs what you are paying me to record Press Your Luck (BTW...we have to push that back a month...again...:( *cry* I'm sorry. I may have to smash a DVDR soon.)

Why in the world is Comcast telling you wiring problems prevent you from getting digital cable?

I doubt it is your wiring. We've struggled a bit with them and digital as well. It seems their first initial boxes are buggy. So one worked and the other didn't ping. And then it would ping and tell them it was working and fine, but it wasn't. It wasn't giving us anything.

Finally they gave us one of their new model of boxes and that actually works.

This time we've been DVRing them and then my plan was to record them manually. The stupid DVDR wouldn't even record manually. This was a different DVDR since I was hoping mine would miraculously have the timer record work.

But now it's fine, we've just switched DVDRs to mine and I had no problems transfering all episodes since September 3. (Comcast erased the others...)

Hi Chandra,

Thanks for the info on Crapcast's digital boxes! I knew our wiring wasn't at fault, but Crapcast wouldn't listen >X(! If that's the case, we might be able to get our digital cable back since Crapcast will probably have forgotten our little argument with them all those years ago, but we'll see ;b. They may have forgotten our argument, but we haven't --;. Also, we'll need some time to figure out what we want to do.

Thanks for helping me record things in the meantime! I greatly appreciate it! I've lost track on when I need to pay you next though, so you'll have to tell me when I need to give you more money o~O!
