theamazingk was right! I sent this via TPT's/KTCA's website mail form.

Dear TPT/KTCA,

I had a very UNPLEASANT conversation with your receptionist this morning about your decision to move Mister Rogers' Neighborhood to your digital-only station feed. When I told her that I didn't like YOUR decision to remove the program from your main analog channel, all she did was give me options on what I could do to receive your digital feed. In my case, I THOUGHT I didn't have to worry about the digital conversion because I have cable TV. Your receptionist then proceeded to tell me that it was NOT YOUR FAULT that my cable company would charge me extra for digital channels. I KNOW THAT! In my particular case, I CAN NOT SUBSCRIBE TO DIGITAL CABLE because of problems between my cable company and the wiring in our house. Your receptionist then tried telling me I should get a digital converter box instead to get your digital channel, but then, I wouldn't be able to see my cable channels on that TV.

In either case, I would have to pay MORE money in order to see Mister Rogers (either for some wiring fix in my house to get digital cable or getting a digital converter). Nonetheless, your receptionist kept trying to blame either my cable company for charging extra for your digital channels or the FCC for forcing everyone to upgrade to digital cable. It's NOT THEIR FAULT. IT'S YOUR FAULT for deciding to move Mister Rogers to YOUR digital tier!

I was extremely mad afterward at your receptionist's lack of tack toward YOUR decision to rearrange the programming on your main channel. I WAS a member of TPT/KTCA a few years back, and I was hoping to renew my membership in the near future when I had enough funds to do so. I will NOT be renewing my membership EVER if this is how I'm going to be treated by YOUR staff AND if I won't have easier access to Mister Rogers! I'm extremely disappointed this is how TPT/KTCA treats a viewer and EX-MEMBER! I thought you were more respectful and caring than most public television stations, but I was wrong!

Sincerely,

Sonia Lai
