(no subject)
well, the excitement has begun! i finished all my x-mas shopping this past monday which is the earliest ever. i'm typically a very late shopper. one year i STARTED my shopping two days before x-mas. that year sucked (for shopping) haha.
well.... actually kane and i decided we need to buy an x-mas gift for one more person. so tomorrow i have to go all the way to the jersey shore to pick up a jet ski part for a present. so i plan on waking up around 11am and getting to the shop by around 12 or 1pm. after that, i have to go to my parents' house to pick up kane's last present that was delivered and get the explorer. we're taking the explorer up to the poconos because it gets better gas mileage, has heat, and has good winter snow tires. then later that night we're going to an x-mas party in princeton.
let's back track a little to the present time though. tonight dave and craig came over and we exchanged presents. craig got us a cool s'mores maker which we're loving cuz... well, roasted marshmellows = yummmmmmm. then dave gave me a cool flight simulator yoke which was for my bday and x-mas (love ya davey! haha). dave gave kane some cool drunkn munky sweatshirts which kane loved (good idea dave hehe). we gave craig a nice watch and a track jacket both from pac sun. dave got some ugly, oops i mean hot, armani stuff which he has to return due to wrong sizes. sowwy! it's the thought that counts, right? lol
ok, fast forward. friday we're heading up to the poconos to see kane's parents. we're gonna do some food shopping most likely with his mom friday night. then x-mas eve we're gonna chill with some of his friends and then spend the night with his family drinkin and openin some presents. it should be fun. then x-mas morning we're going to eat breakfast there and then get back on the road to my parent's house.
we should arrive around 3:30 or 4 at my rents. i'm gonna help mother cook some dinner, and then after dinner we'll prob exchange some presents. i bought kane's presents from my parents of course hehe. they gave me the money and told me to get him something nice. so i hope he likes. i know i'm getting money and a very very nice high end keyboard that i put in some money for. the thing was close to $500. i can't wait to play it! it's actually sitting in my room and i've already seen it haha. my mom refused to wrap it since it's like 5 feet long by 2 feet deep and wide weighing 75 lbs.
i plan on staying late at my parents because my fav aunt is coming over to see me after she visits her sister. i'm looking forward to seeing her. she hasn't been doing too good after she had emergency surgery on a brain anuerism (sp?) a few months back. she hasn't been 100% normal since... very forgetful. this past thanksgiving my mom said she put a pumpkin pie in the oven still in the cardboard box, and also forgot to turn the oven on. she did a lot of little things like that. and typically her food is amazing and my parents said it was pretty bad.
so ya... after we see my aunt, we'll be headin back to philly to start the really cool present exchanging! i put a ton of thought into kane's presents and am REALLY excited to give them to him. i'm way more excited to give than to recieve. i love giving presents. and that'll wrap up our x-mas!
