holidays
this christmas was amazing. i celebrated x-mas 3 times this year with someone i love a lot. we went up to kane's parent's house on friday night. we celebrated on x-mas eve and did the whole gift exchanging thing. his parents got me a sweet green track jacket from pac sun and some tommy cologne. kane got a ton of stuff for the apartment, mostly kitchen stuff. we did some drinkin that night and watched his parents get into a political debate over bush *gag*
x-mas morning we left around noon and headed to my parent's house. it felt great being there. i dunno why, but i guess it being x-mas and it, it was nice. i picked up my keyboard from my rents and they gave me a few odds and ends and money. my rents gave kane some sylvania headlight bulbs and shoes. then my aunt and uncle came over which was cool cuz i haven't seen them in a while. we left there probably around 9 and my expedition was filled big time with crap!
when we got home, we unpacked everything and then got ready to open our presents. kane got me rudder pedals and throttles for flight sim, 2 DVDs, a book, some clothes from pac sun, a thunder tigers t-shirt that rocks!, new high end computer speakers, headphones for my keyboard, a hottie calander hehe, and some other stuff. i made out pretty good! i got kane an ipod shuffle, an expresso maker, some drunkn munky clothes, tickets to see "christmas carol" at mccarter theatre which we already went to the thursday before x-mas, angel eye headlights, and another set of sylvania headlight bulbs since his new headlights needed them. once we were done opening our main gifts, we then opened our stockings. the last thing in kane's stocking was a small box wrapped up. inside were directions and a few bolts. kane looked at me really funny. he was clueless, so i told him "i think santa left something in my closet for you" (yeah i know i'm corny). so he then found another gift and was really excited. i got him the exact wing for his jetta he wanted. he really flipped out over it! hehe. it was awesome :) i loved giving him gifts!
so that was x-mas this year. it sucks it's over though :( but i'm grateful i had someone so amazing to spend it with. it really was one of the best in a very very long time.
right now the only thing to look forward to is new years eve at dave's. after that i'll be counting the days for summer to start!
