For those of you who are even vaguely interested, I have been planning to go to Dolpa 21 in Tokyo during Golden Week. Dolpa is the Volks Doll Party - basically a doll convention. It only allows Volks dolls though - so Miranda won't be able to join me there (*sniff sniff*), but it is something i DO want to experience before I leave Japan.

As you have no doubt been able to see from the photos, Miranda has been missing a certain something for quite a while now.  Namely, a faceup!  For those not in the know, a face-up refers to the "make up" on a doll, what makes them look like more than an eyebrowless albino.  Being in Japanese inaka puts me at a slight disadvantage when it comes to ( Read more... )

So, I ordered Miranda's eyes ages and ages ago and she STILL does not have them.

She is on her way!  She has been shipped!  She is IN Japan!!!!!!!!
