So, I gave in. Magus and I found some extra wiggle room in our budget, and I got myself a very, very nice (IMO, at least) laptop. And so far, so good! It's a bit larger then my last one, but it has EVERYTHING I wanted. Which is awesome. It's done! Well, nearly! I still have to do the trim work (along with the ceiling) but that will come later (probably after the holidays), as it is just a re-coat of white, and the ceiling actually needs some repairs done before it can be painted.
