Long live the new laptop!
So, I gave in. Magus and I found some extra wiggle room in our budget, and I got myself a very, very nice (IMO, at least) laptop. And so far, so good! It's a bit larger then my last one, but it has EVERYTHING I wanted. Which is awesome. And, since technically it is a gaming laptop, there is a good chance of my being able to use it when (if) Diablo III comes out (or for if I manage to get my hands on a copy of DA:O for the PC). The keyboard is taking some getting use to, as it has a full number pad included (NICE!), so the actual main keys are off-set a bit. But, it makes up for it by having a backlit keyboard :-D Oh yeah, and by being pretty! (Which it really, really is! Not that my 4-year old laptop wasn't pretty once, but I researched this one a hell of a lot more, so its a bit prettier by comparison ;-P)
And yes, I am posting this at 5:40 in the morning because Insomnia doesn't take a vacation. Yesterday, I used this time to go the gym before work. The day before THAT I used it to stare at the ceiling. Now, I am using it to install the original "Fable" as I was never able to run it on my last computer, and I WANT TO SEE IT!
Oh! And a reminder to you lovely folks that I am offering up drabbles here. I only have the one prompt so far *pouts* and I was hoping to have a couple before I make a post. SO feel free to give me a prompt! No repayment is necessary!
