I was extremely bored this afternoon. When I went to ask my dad what we were having, he said we were having chicken. So I asked him if I could possibly make dinner tonight. I decided to make Blackened Chicken Alfredo. I served my dad and Margie's with sautee'd spinach and diced tomatoes. Yep, it turned out pretty good. I still say it could've been better. Dad and Margie loved it. The main thing that was interesting to me was when on several occasions, Margie came over and would open up the lids, and check on things, like every 10 minutes. I didn't say anything to her, unless she got in my way, but when my dad saw she was in there looking at everything I was doing, my dad said to her, "Margie what the hell are you doing? He's cooking, not you. Let him do it." Of course, I was glad he said that, because she probably would've never stopped. So, I've got work in the morning, so I'll be back cooking again.
