Yeah, so…I know it's been a long time since I've made an entry and I'm sorry, but I've been extremely busy! Here are my oh-so-fabulous bullet points to bring you all up to speed
-Went to see The Producers with, lemme hear you say it……NATHAN LANE! It was AMAZING!!!! He was so incredibly funny and the guy who played the character of Bloom was really good too(he was the guy in There's Something About Mary. He was the one pretending to be crippled). Yeah, I see someone famous every time I see a show here(or at least someone who thinks they're famous). So here's my story of how I pissed off the people in front of me at the theatre. The tickets were selling so fast that I grabbed the only 4 I could when I could. This meant that we were sitting in the last row of the balcony that seemed to shoot straight up rather than an easy slant like most balconies. Matt and I were joking at how we could jump from our seats and clear the edge of the balcony because the slant was so extreme. We then preceded to emplore the people below us to catch us as we mock-attempted. They were rightly confused. Now because we were so high up the theatre provides you with binoculars so that you can see what the heck's going on. Though in order to obtain these vision enhancing items you were required to pay 50p. I actually wanted to see so I put the money in the slot and attempted to yank the binoculars out. They would not come out. I tried to jostle the thingy and they still would not come out. Ben then said he would pull while I pressed the button. Still didn't work. Matt said, "Just kick it!" and me, having become thoroughly pissed off that I could get my binoculars out said, "Fine!" and kicked the stupid thing as hard as I could. They popped out. The people in front were none too pleased, however and shot me a piercing look. To assuage the situation I said to them, "I sincerely apologise…I got 'em!" They did not seem as excited as me, however. Oh well.
-Uh, let's see, what else has happened? I will be going to Lyon in France this Monday for a week because I have friends of the family there who have offered to let me stay with them for Christmas! I don't actually speak any french, though. Not only that, I've never taken French so I don't even know how to pronounce words in French. There's going to be a lot of pointing and a lot of gesticulations on this trip!
-When I come back I immediately go to pick up Erin at the station since she's going to be staying with me till new years. Then in the next day or so I pick up Mike S. from the station since he's going to be doing the same. It'll be a lot of fun and in the mean time I have a rather nice present in store for Joey that will require their help……mwahaha!
-Uhhh....oh yes, the week after they leave Mike, the boy in my life, comes to stay for a while. They day after he gets here(at 7am ugh) we hop a flight to Berlin where we will be staying in a hostel that is 40% gay. hee heee! I couldn't resist and it's just going to be so much fun!
-So then after that my parents come to visit and that will be fun because I won't have to be the tour guide, I can just kind of "be" if that makes any sense. We are going to see The Woman in White which will be fun(and for those of you who hadn't already guess I'm kind of a musical dork). Then after that I'm just going to be chillin' and taking care of buiznass before I go home. Perhaps I'll go on another trip but perhaps not. Pretty much all of my travel buddies are gone and some new students will be moving into the flat(cross your fingers that they aren't Welsh!!!!!).
-Oh, and real quick, my flat did a secret santa and Andy had Rachel and (if you didn't know this before, Rachel kept on complaining that she didn't believe in God anymore and that she wouldn't set foot in a church anymore because she didn't feel welcome. To which Andy responded, "Why, because you're the devil?" it was really funny. She's kind of nasty and rude and no one really likes her but we put up with her anyway) so for secret santa Andy managed to find her………BIBLE MAN THE ACTION FIGURE!! I have a video clip of her opening it and it's GREAT! So if anyone wants to see it just ask, I'll be more than happy to see it again!
-Okay, I think I'm done and I think you're done reading. Till next time, my lovelies!
Happy Holidays and have a splendid New Year!
