As per my host's recommendation, I went over to the public library, Open Bare Bibliotheek. The bike ride there was lovely as I went behind Centraal Station.

I decided to go out for dinner and then check out the Torture Museum. I was intrigued by TerraZen Centre as it's Japanese-Carribean food fusion and all vegan. Yum! I was up early on May 14 as I had a tattoo appointment booked at House of Tattoos for 11:00. Though Google Maps said it was a 15 mins bike ride from the flat, I wanted to give myself at least an hour for when I'd inevitably get lost.
