Kick My Heels Up And...
Please forgive my negligence when it comes to updating this. I feel like I've been rather busy as of late.
Andrew and I did nothing for New Year's short of staying home to watch movies. I loved it. I would have been content with having people over to play games, but this was also lovely.
Now that the holidays are done, I need to get my ass back to the routine of school. I'm behind on reading and I have an assignment due...I think this week. So, yeah, really need to get back on track. As such, my Sims playing has been seriously cut these last couple of days.
My plan for the new year is to keep track of how many books I read during 2012. I won't include school books in the list because that's not for funzies. So, first book I'm reading is Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman. I'm about halfway through it.
OH! I got my hair cleaned up on Saturday. She dyed it, using ammonia-free dyes, darker brunette with a few lowlights of red and violet. It looks really nice and neater. I think if I get lowlights next time, I would just stick with the red because I can't see the violet ones at all. *lol* I also asked her to just do a clean-up since I hadn't had a hair cut in 6 months so she did some texturizing and added a bit of shape so it can continue to grow out nicely. I'm going to try and hold off getting another trim until the spring.
I have a tattoo appt next week which I'm nervous about. It's going on my right inner bicep and, yeah, I anticipate it's going to hurt like a mother fucker. Not looking forward to that at all.
