I am a Sims 3 crack addict. Sweet Georgia Brown. You lose track of time so easily playing that. And even now I'm jonesing because I want to play it...I want to play it now, damn it! My Sim has found herself in an interracial lesbian marriage. *lol* The things that happen in the world of Sims.
Alright, so let me tell you about Xmas. Andrew and I seemed to have a fun play theme this year. I got him a remote controlled helicopter, Batman Arkham City for Xbox, Pulp Fiction on Blu-ray, PJ pants, and The Office season 5 on Blu-ray. Andrew got me The Sims 3, hardcover books 4 to 6 of The Walking Dead graphic novels, first season of The Walking Dead on Blu-ray, all the Harry Potter movies on Blu-ray, PJ pants (Hello Kitty style) and a PJ set, and fuzzy socks. Yay! Oh, and Andrew's family got me a big ceramic coffee mug that looks like a Tim Horton's take-out cup.
After opening presents at home, we went to my sister's place to do gift exchange. More PJ pants (I threw away a bunch a few months ago due to holes in the bums), cute socks, Ten Thousand Villages coffee, Mongo's gift card, a nice blanket that has family photos on it, moolah, Andrew got some Jets stuff, and some toys for the cat and dogs. Very nice indeed.
After that, we went to my cousin's house for dinner with my Mom's side of the family. It was nice that we all got together for Xmas as we haven't in a couple of years. Plus, Andrew and I really like spending time with my cousins and their spouses.
Needless to say, we've watched all The Office episodes and I have been playing Sims 3 like a drug addict yesterday and today. *lol* I played Sims yesterday while Andrew went Boxing Day shopping then we went to Mongo's. When we got home, he went to play Batman and I went to play Sims. Good times and, seriously, totally lose track of time super easily.
I would say this has been a very fine Xmas.
