When You Came In, The Air Went Out...

I'm so irritated over my eyeball. As you may be aware, I've been having trouble off and on with my right eyeball when I'd wear contacts and sometimes not wearing them. The last time I went to the optometrist a few weeks ago, she was stumped as to why I had dry patches on my eyeball. She guessed it may have had something to do with the cold/flu virus I was suffering at the time. I waited a few weeks before putting contacts in again. I put them in on the Thursday of vacation for a few hours without problems. I put them in again on Oct. 16 and the next day my eye was red and dry again. Yesterday, I wore my contacts for about 6 hours and, again, today it was a tiny bit red, but more than anything it's dry and painful. Should I go back to the optometrist? By the time I get in to see her, it'll be fine. I'm getting very concerned though because when it's like this, my vision is affected in my right eye (it's like when you don't blink for a long time and your eyes get too dry to see out of). I was also hoping to have Lasik done in the future, but at this rate I don't think it would be safe. *sigh*

I had a very fun shoot yesterday with another model. The theme was "futuristic cyber girls". We shot it at a rundown warehouse just off Waterfront Drive. I've seen 3 of the pics so far and they look pretty cool. I just hope the photographer cleans my skin up a bit as my skin was too dry to wear foundation so it's a bit dark under my eyes in one pic I've seen.

I have the rest of my photos from my shoot a couple of weeks ago, but I can't upload them all yet on to my 23hq account (I should probably look at using a different photo storing site). If you're on my FB, you can see the pics there where I hanged myself with latex helium balloons. :)

We took the car in early last week as it started with the bucking and shuddering on the way to work Monday morning. The shop kept it overnight and just when they thought they'd found the problem (electrical), the car would start running fine again. They were nice enough not to charge me because they couldn't figure the problem out. That is excellent customer service so I will strongly put them over. That was Ultimate Auto Services on Scurfield Blvd and I'd definitely go to them again (hopefully I won't have to anytime soon, haha).

I have a tradition of watching certain movies leading up to Halloween, namely The Exorcist and The Fly (Jeff Goldblum version). Normally, AMC or something would play an edited version of Fly, but I didn't see it listed this year. So, I went to Future Shop and bought it on blu-ray (FYI, Blockbuster doesn't carry that movie anymore - weird!). I think Andrew and I are going to watch it tonight.

Mia is being unusually well-behaved today and even yesterday she was pretty good. I wonder if she's getting sick or something, hahaha. Yesterday was Poe-cat's birthday and he turned 7. Poor, neglected Poe.
