Meme, drawings and lalala.
Hmmm, might as well post what I drew during vacation. I planned on maybe sketching the beach or something, but I forgot to bring my sketchbook when we piled into the car. Heh. So I didn't really get any real drawing in except for some random doodlings. Only a few came out half-decent. But here's the best of the bunch, coloured and spruced up.
And on the way back home, we stopped at Kuala Kangsar for lunch. That's in Perak. Ipoh River runs through there, and I sat on a riverbank and sketched a little boat jetty. It's wonky, not the least bit perfect, but I'm fond of it because I don't usually sketch stuff like this. My grandad said I should send it to Lat (he's the best cartoonist in Malaysia, number one and all that. He paved the way for the cartoonists here. Was the first to make political comments and all that through his art, which was pretty daring back then.) and get his opinion. Maybe I will, one day when I've improved some more.
Further on the highway, we stopped at a little rest stop at Gunung Tempurung. It's a really quaint little place, nestled between the mountains. There was a little river running through at the bottom of a slope from the rest stop itself. My siblings immediately changed into their bathing suits and went for a dip while I whipped out my sketchbook and pen and got sketching.
Yup, that's pretty much it. Critique is welcome for the drawings, minus the fanart. That was just done for fun. But comment away at the sketches, I really want to improve on those. :)

There are quite a number of repeated artists up there ... should be pretty easy to guess, I'm thinking.
