On another bear-related (yeshhhh ... -_-) note, this is my 15th submission to Project December. It's been half a month, and still going strong! :D
Robin is my teddy bear. Had him since I was six. I used to love watching Disney's Robin Hood, so I named the bear after him. I still have it on my desk right now. x)
I went looking for a birthday present for my dad today. His birthday is on Sunday. I bought a little bean bag handphone holder, since that I couldn't think of anything else to buy for him. My dad is picky. Last year we (my sibs and I) chipped in together and bought him a wallet. He took it back to the store and changed it for another one. Man, we felt heartbroken. My grandad assured us that he's always like that. Didn't make us feel any better, though. :/
So anyway, my little sister (she's four) decided to buy him a little teddy bear. She was pretty excited about it, kept squealing about how cute it was. Then we told her to wait until Sunday to give it to dad. She didn't get the message. Kept going on about how she was going to show him the bear when we got home. No matter how hard we tried to explain that it wasn't time yet, when we got back home, she went straight to dad's study and showed him the bear.
Hanna: It's your birthday! Look! :shows teddy:
Dad: ... It's not my birthday.
Hanna: Oh. Look! :waves bear:
Dad: My birthday is on Sunday.
Me: I told you! >_>
Hanna: ... Oh. Take it.
Dad: It's not my birthday.
The conversation went on something like that. Hanna's cute in an annoying-sister sort of way. Like how when my Grandad told her we were going on a ferry, she explained that a fairy is a girl with wings. Hee. While we were at Penang and were leaving the beach, my Grandad had her sit on his lap.
Grandad: Say bye to the beach!
Hanna: The beach cannot talk.
Grandad: But the beach can hear you!
Hanna: ... But the beach don't have ears.
'Twas hilarious. xD
