The festival was a lot of fun, but I'm glad its over. I spent most of today semi-delirious and not feeling too grand. Damn sinuses and sleep deprivation! I will not be attending classes today. Maxomai was kind enough to table sit for me yesterday since I would have had to forfit a Preserve class to make the first 3 hours of the festival. He did an excellent job and even let me off later in the evening to see Shorts Block 1. The first night of the film festival went well. Sharing a table with Edward Martin III of Guerrilla Productions is an absolute delight! Edwards is highly energetic and fun to be around, he also knows lots of people so I was being introduced to filmmakers and other cool folks all night.
