HPLFF Day Two

Oct 08, 2006 11:20

Maxomai was kind enough to table sit for me yesterday since I would have had to forfit a Preserve class to make the first 3 hours of the festival. He did an excellent job and even let me off later in the evening to see Shorts Block 1. There were some really excellent films in there including the best adaptation of "The Music of Erich Zhann" I've ever seen. The modernized version of "The Thing on the Doorstep" was my favorite of the group though I had a bit of trouble understanding some of the dialoge. (I blame the sound system at the theatre, not the film makers.) I'm looking forward to today, though I may have to drink quite a bit of coffee to make it through the scheduled end at 1 am.

film, festival, sales, jewelery, lovecraft
