I'm in Prague for the week -- nothing special planned, just visiting friends/family, revisiting favorite haunts, and making sure I could actually feed myself if I came to stay for longer while on my diet (which has definitely skewed my idea of what's a culinary necessity and what's not). So my dad came in to say goodnight and I asked him to take the cordless phone with him and put it back on the receiver to charge. He looks at the phone with a mildly befuddled expression and asks how to put it back.

Keep in mind that my parents have been using this phone for the past ... oh, seven, eight years?

My uncle's house, as can be seen from the location tag, has a highly amusing official name.
