House On the Rock is creepy, weird, a little frightening, amazing, and everything I'd hoped it would be. If nothing else, the Infinity Room and the LIFE-SIZE whale vs. giant squid statue were worth it. LIFE-SIZE, people. Seriously, pictures don't do anything at House On the Rock justice. It's a place to be experienced.

Damn - we walked something like 6 miles today. Two art museums - the Art Institute and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The MCA had an amazing exhibition by Olafur Eliasson that had me giggling like an excited five year-old the entire time we were there. It dealt with perspective, and just blew my mind.
