Damn - we walked something like 6 miles today. Two art museums - the Art Institute and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The MCA had an amazing exhibition by
Olafur Eliasson that had me giggling like an excited five year-old the entire time we were there. It dealt with perspective, and just blew my mind. There was also a great
Buckminster Fuller thing that took up the entire top floor, and made me realize the man was both a visionary and mild crank.
We art people, evidently.
There was also the Lego store (smaller than I expected), the Hancock Observatory (fun, even if slightly foggy still), and some fun food at
Wow Bao (we need one of these in Lawrence). I am totally stuffed. We've been doing it up a little too much at meals, rather than doing it properly. Some of these meals could have been far better, if we'd just stuck to less food.
