The camera repair place called me today. They informed me that to get my camera door fixed, it would be $35. The lady was kind enough to explain this and do away with my confusion.

Seems that to get the door fixed, it's $35. If they find anything else wrong, then it'll be $144.95. Of course, I have to provide a method of payment before they start ( Read more... )

Kodak wants $135 to fix the battery door on my camera.

They'll trade it in for the next higher model (4.0 MP and 32 Mb internal) for $149.

Now, I just gotta get ahold of $149 + tax + shipping.
