Hey all!
I've had four glasses of wine, so I'm finally posting something!
I still haven't heard about the job. They reposted the opening hoping to get someone more qualified than me. I hope they don't. The new engineer in our department applied and if they give it to him, I'll be very pissed off. I may be just a PG and he's a senior PE, but I'm way more qualified in the program than he is. And I even gave him the office...bahhhhhh.
Meanwhile, we've done our family vacation, and had a blast. We went on a Royal Carribean Cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas ...it was fabulous, but even after a whole week, I can still feel things moving about. It's very disorienting. But we had fun.
Summer is going by fast. I met a new mom in the neighborhood who has kids the same age. And she's from the same part of the country as I am...sigh, now I'm homesick.
My oldest is with my mom in Williamsburg, and they are bonding ... YAY.
I'd better go beforfe I do something silly. I still have to work in the morning.
