O-oh... ah, thank you, Joe! It's not that... or, Oh I mean... I just thought maybe it could help. We could really do with a center of some sort, where people can come for information... I think...

Like the faith center, but for all kind of things?

Edgeworth talked to me about something like that a little while ago. Like a community center. But we wondered if it would get targeted by newcomer-haters and not be so safe, if we tried starting one up.

Yes! Like that though... sadly that was my first thought too, that it would be a target. It would be really helpful though, I would think. I should be fine though, doing it myself from the Tower Apartments. The apartments are targets already and doing alright. If it's just me then maybe no one will notice outside of the group of us.

Not much yet. I'm still trying to gather some, but I've found a small list of local businesses that seem to be Newcomer friendly, and I've researched a few places that are low rent and newcomer friendly too. There's not a big list of places like that but it's really exciting when I find one. I'm mostly just researching places and keeping them in mind in case people need assistance.

I've been looking for someone to make a pamphlet that could be given to newcomers when they first arrive here; it's given to them by the greeter, and it would give a basic list of things. Not everything, but a list in a pamphlet, complete with some explanations for simple things, would be a good thing.

How are you about designing something like that?

[Blinks. Oh, you know...] ...that's a really good idea. It might make it easier on people in the long run. I'm not sure how well my design skills are but I could piece together some ideas? Something to run by you and others maybe.

I'm almost surprised you're not the founder of the newbie support group. [ and he means that in the kindest way possible. ] You're probably the best greeter we've got.

[Giggles at that, hiding her smile with a hand.] I don't know about all that! There are a few really fantastic greeters around here. Very skilled! I'm just... trying to find something else I can do to help people make an easier transition.

I actually thought of it after talking to you the other day.

I was talking to a guy the other day, said his greeter was drunk. So hey, you're one of the fantastic greeters we've got around here. Doesn't mean there aren't others, but you're one of them.

[ Blinkblink... and then there was a smile. ] You did? Well you helped me, I think it's a great idea.

[She sighed a bit, head tilted, a little more serious looking, perhaps worried.] I suppose I can't blame a person for being drunk though. I've talked to a few of them who seem to think it makes it easier. When there are so many of us being killed on sight that is. I've been really lucky...
