Hello everyone! I suppose after Christmas and with school starting back up I’ve been a bit scarce again. Things have been busy and I’ve been out collecting information and data!
[The bird tweets cheerfully and nests in a curl of her hair while she reached over and pulls ‘for Rent’ books, ‘jobs near you’ books and other yellow pages like paper backs to just the side of her, leaning on them.]
While talking to a friend the other day I thought this might be a good idea. People are always asking about looking for a place to stay or jobs, right? I’d like to offer my services to the Newcomer support group. It might not be much but I’ve got a lot of data on the city now and maybe I can help you find a place to stay, work or even just some information.
Ah, credentials, yes. [She pointed a finger up, as if this were a fine idea!] I’ve been here for over a year now. I’ve taken a few classes at the college on the history of the city and I get a lot of information from the job center at the college. I haven’t dealt with moving out into the city myself but I’ve helped a few people who have.
If you ever need some kind of help, please feel free to call me any time or get a hold of me somehow. If I don’t know something I’m willing to look it up or help find who will!
