[The feed comes on to display Syrena with a look of discontent. Not only does she look extremely unhappy, but she seems to look, well, ill. Her hair seems to be coated in crude oil as she sits, curled up in what seems to be a secluded cove of shoreline. Her golden scaly tail is visible as she runs her fingers through her hair, trying to wash the oil away. But, oil and water don't mix of course, thus it seems to be somewhat of a futile effort.
The distressed mermaid was unfortunately caught in the fray down at the docks and, although it wasn't a very large oil spill, the barrel was knocked over close to where she was swimming the day prior. Fire and oil. Yesterday was, without a doubt, a terrible day.]
It will not come off. It will not wash away.
