[ When the feed first starts, broadcasting from a poorly lit warehouse, the video isn’t exactly angled to show much of importance. All that’s captured is part of Peter’s face, smeared with blood, at the edge of the screen. He’s stolen Sylar’s NV and he doesn’t exactly know how to use it, but he’s a quick learner right now and after a second he flips it around.
Instantly, the scene turns hideously grim; evident even through the shaky hold that Peter has on the NV.
There’s a man, pinned to the wall, the building showing obvious signs of radiation burns around him. Sylar’s being held in place by girders, shrapnel, and that doesn’t even come close to the extent of the brutality that’s been exacted upon him.
Thankfully, Peter’s not giving anyone much time to look at the scene, he doesn’t exactly like it very much himself. Staring at somebody that bloody, without their head fully intact, would do anybody’s stomach in. Not to mention, he’s been obviously burned, charred, and what’s left of his face -- well, he’s just not easily identifiable anymore.
That’s not all that’s been done to Sylar, but Peter finally drops down the tips the feed towards his feet and he finds his voice, lacking any amount of confidence. ]
... Sylar’s dead.
[ After a brutally long pause, Peter slowly turns the NV to show another body, laying not far off to the side, partially frozen to the ground. In the dank lighting of the warehouse, it’s hard to see who it is through the mess of blood, and Peter’s not exactly going to give any closeups.
But anyone familiar with the distinctive colors of Carrie’s outfit should know almost instantaneously who she is, despite the fact that the top of her head, as well as the contents of it, is no longer there. ]
And there’s a- a girl here, too.
[ .. and with that, he’s ending the feed abruptly, so he can go be sick. ]
