[Things are blurry at first when the feed comes on. Tipsy and blurry before the NV is settled on a rock and Syrena's face comes into view. She seems to be in...a rather curious mood as her fingers curl around the edge of a rock, golden tail barely visible in the water below.]
I found two interesting things.
[She reaches off screen then, only to hold up a pair of swim fins. The curious thing about them however is that there seems to be a pair of severed rotting feet stuck inside the flippers still. Does she seem bothered by the fact? N o p e.]
They are strange. I believe they belonged to a man. There are...feet? Yes, that is what they are called - feet inside them. But for what purpose? Fish were eating them. I suppose it is unfair that I took their meal from them.
[With a bit of a hum she manages to yank out the decaying feet, tossing them over her shoulder so she's left with the fins. In her hands go before she slaps the surface of the water with the flippers on her hands.]
They are odd things. But that is not the most interesting thing.
[Annnd off go the flippers, thrown off screen before she seems to dive down out of sight, the flick of the tip of her golden tail breaching the surface. It's a moment until she comes up again, this time with a waterproof flashlight. Immediately she turns it on, pointing it at the NV.]
This is the most interesting thing. Is it not beautiful? What is it? This metal light stick. I wish to know.
[Anyone who disagrees with her will get a hiss. The 'light stick' is obviously the most beautiful thing ever made. After all, mermaids do have a thing for man made light.]
