012 ⚜ Video ⚜ The beginning (of the end)
[Francis quickly appears on the screen, a large bloody cut on his forehead. He's panting, indicating that he ran away from something, and has just recently stopped. The NV is shaking a little bit as he wipes some blood off onto the back of his hand. If anyone is paying really close attention, they might notice hexagonal metal cells around the cut. It is night, but he's propped up against a building, and there seems to be nothing attacking him yet.]
S-someone... someone attacked me as I was walking to work... it was no monster! This man, he just... he just struck at me from nowhere! [The cut seems to be healing, but the metal cells are not disappearing. They're staying there.] He was laughing like a madman, I swear! I... I feel funny... he must have hit me... harder than I thought... [He reaches for his head, groaning a little, as he rubs at his head.] Anyone still out in Sector 6, be careful! The crazed man may still be out there... he... he...
[Then a pause, as Francis releases the NV from his grip. It clatters to the ground, so it's not pointing at anything in particular. But what it does pick up is Francis' voice, still.]
... hee hee... hee hee ha ha ha... ha ha ha ha ha ha! [His fit of quiet giggles soon turns into a dark cackling that echoes through the alley he's in.] This feeling... this feeling of power! Ah, Dieu, it's been so long since I felt this powerful, back when I conquered all with a single blow! Power, power! How do you like me now, Siren's Port? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...!
[France starts wandering off and kicks the NV in the process. It flips over to face the ground before Francis wanders off, his maniacal laughter slowly fading, regardless of how loud he actually is. Then, after several hours more of nothing but the noises of the Darkness, it shuts off on its own.]
(( ooc: Reactions only, seeing as France dropped his NV. He won't be responding to anything until the 1st, when he gets hold of another NV, but he will be posting up a log in the Underground Mall on the 29th for anyone wanting to fight him/get infected!
And the only reason he went crazy so fast was because he got infected near his head. Anyone getting infected on a hand or foot, feel free to have your character get random impulses to strangle people and freak out, until it reaches their spinal cord. Then you can go full-on crazy. <3 ))
