It has little to do with not liking each other. That's a very simplistic way of defining it.

Of course it is. But it's still true that whatever pushes us apart, there's always something binding us together, too. We can't change that.

And that should be seeking a way for everyone to return home. That should be what holds us all in common, more than anything else.

And those that do? Should we remain here simply because they don't have anyplace to go? That isn't fair.

No, it's not. And they shouldn't. But it might not be a choice between one or the other.
