I don't think trusting each other just because we're newcomers is a good idea. There will always be someone to take advantage. That's something else that's probably true in every world.

But we can still give each other the chance to be trustworthy. A chance can be really important all by itself.

No, I dare say you're right. I...I find this all so impersonal at times that I try not to meddle in others' business. In my own time, you see, communication was not so forthcoming as this.

Adjusting has been difficult, as the modern mindset is still very strange to me. Fascinating, but strange.

The difference in times is very strange, isn't it? I feel that way and I'm a lot closer to...the "now" than some of the others.
