004. Third Flight - Slightly distorted video
[What is that? An American flag fluttering across the screen? No, just a cape. A very bright, very red cape. Clark is practicing his hovering, because it looks completely different on screen than simply standing still, and strengthens his make-believe that Superman and Clark Kent are from different universes, and that he can fly, you know, just like the real Superman.
It's a complex, okay.
Anyway. Fourth of July. There's no way the All American Boy Scout is going to miss this one.]
Canada Day isn't quite the same, is it? For those of you who want a real Fourth of July celebration, I'll be setting off fireworks over at Winthers Lake into the late evening. Everyone is welcome to come. Bring food, and spend time with your fellow newcomers, whether you celebrate the holiday or not.
Fireworks don't have quite the same effect in daylight, but I think I can add a little bit of sparkle to the proceedings with my powers. The Crossroads Stop is the closest to the lake, but please remember to leave by nine if you mean to make it home by subway this evening. Come any time after five, and the fireworks start at seven. Just look for the red and blue.
