Video (intended to be Voice)
[The video screen flickers on, focusing on white bandages before tilting. It shows the sky, trees, then finally the NV drops to the ground. Liquid apparently doesn't even realise it's on video. Otherwise he wouldn't be sitting in the position he's in; bandaged arms wrapped loosely around his knees and head tilted carelessly downward. He looks almost mournful. But Liquid Snake does not mourn, especially not for someone he has only known for less than two months. For once the energetic man feels honestly guilty. He promised to look after Kazuhiko. He owed Shinji his life. He got him into the torture thing to begin with. Was this his fault? The only thing he can conclude is that Shinji was seen on the way to meet Urick. Surely Urick isn't the type of person to-? No. That's ridiculous.]
Shinji Nishizono and Kazuhiko Amamiya are gone.
[Liquid's voice is oddly dulled. Frankly, he can't take any more of these disappearances. But he promised. He swore to himself he would keep in control no matter what. He's already raged.]
They left to meet someone yesterday and did not return... and their NV is no longer registering. Considering the circumstances, they are likely dead. If their murderer happens to be watching this, I'd like a word with you.
[Not registering... Just like Father... His fingers tense. For a moment there's silence. It may seem like he's just forgotten to turn the NV off but... Finally, he straightens up and speaks, still not looking at the NV.]
