Cubicle move....
Almost forgot.
I moved across the aisle to Ruth's old desk today. It's a quiet week with a lot of folks out for vacation so it was a perfect time to do it.
My old cube's set up was such that I had a counter in front of me and the entrance behind me. I was getting approached from two sides and had my side to my door. I work on proprietary documents and there was no way I could block my screen. Also, quite often people would enter my office from behind and startle me. Or worse, they'd look over my shoulder. I hated it.
My [new to me] desk faces outwards towards my cube entrance and the incoming aisle way that everyone uses. Bonus - you can't see the front of my pc.
I am so happy and relaxed now.
