State of the me - July 2007

Jul 02, 2007 09:18

As I was riding the train in today, which by the way still makes my commute a breeze...
I reflected about the weekend and the past few months. A lot has changed, grown, and shifted.

Lately I find myself surrounded by people with an elevated level of integrity who are challenging me in areas of keeping my word. This results in me finding out all the details before I consent to a commitment. It's good. Very satisfying. Another side benefit is the amazing love and support that comes with earning people's trust. A real improvement in quality of life.

With my mate Ferret I find myself spending more and more time in a state of playfulness. The geekiness, the off the cuff insane humor, the both of us girl watching! So much silliness that it's hard to take. NOT. I love him so much.

Stewardship - Been doing a lot of this at the spot and long house. I like it. This ties in with the integrity that I wrote about earlier. The work that we are doing will last for many generations to come and this is exciting.

Poly - Very happy in this area as well. Have two sweeties currently. These two are exceptional men who showed up in my life with a minimum of baggage and drama. Both of them are excellent communicators, kind, patient, supportive, and who I come to for feedback, reality checks, and advice. They aren't too bad in the "curling toes" department either.

Work - A balanced home life spills over into my 9-5 day. I am in a good place with a strong foundation and enjoy the people in my work group.

Future - There is talk with Ferret [much much of the talking] in regards to moving in together, blending finances, and our long term dreams and goals.
We are being very careful and deliberate with this step.

I might add to this later...but for now that is the scoop.
