last night, my dear and wonderful best friend in the universe (andrea) threw a shindig, and i felt compelled to go and drink. and there was an amazing turnout of people, some of whom were awesome, some of whom i wanted to slap across the face. one of these people that i wanted to hit decided that he wanted to talk to me about what a nice guy he is

girls "like" nice guys, they just don't want them. i'm not even talking about the doormat thing because that's a whole different ballgame. i'm talking about the fact that the majority of girls will go after trashy asshole scumbag pieces of shit (like kevin federline!) with a billion and one flaws, because girls like to fix things. girls like to think they can change people (obviously not realizing that they aren't really trying to change someone objectively for the better but more to their own tastes). girls like a "challenge". they're impulsive, flighty creatures and guys that just don't have anything that needs changing bore them. guys that don't keep them on their toes (a lot of girls don't seem to realize that a guy being unpredictable and thus "fun" doesn't exactly outweigh the longterm cons of him being a degenerate), blase blase etc. and the like.

i could go into a huge spiel about how stupid guys are in terms of their general taste in girls, too, but that's not the topic at hand.

i don't know why people somehow have linked together someone that creates drama with being "interesting/entertaining" and "sexy", but whatever. human beings are broken creatures.

i pretty much agree with this whole spiel. especially the bit where "girls like trashy asshole scumbags....because girls like to fix things." you're pretty much preaching to the choir on that one.

however. sometimes we DO like nice boys. they just have to be ridiculously attractive. and maybe have to have a little bit of an asshole streak.
