- my sister and my cousin visiting!!!! i've been trying to get both of their butts down to champaign for FOUR YEARS and they FINALLY came. so i found an ID for adrienne, courtesy of the ever-lovely lizzie, and i'll be damned if it wasn't the worst fake i've ever seen. so to make sure that that would be a nonissue, we went to Kam's. yes, kam's; home to cheap booze, sticky floors, wasted freshmen with fakes, and PRETTY PEOPLE GALORE. so we had some drinks and danced in the slutty-but-hot fashion that only three greek girls can really pull off. it was AMAZING to have these girls visit, and maybe if i'm very lucky, i can get them to visit again before i graduate.

- being a makeout queen/going out far more than i probably should. i don't know how this amazing stroke of luck happened, or maybe it's a happy coincidence with my getting all slutted out and going to places like kam's and cly's, BUT I LIKE IT.
- interviews. go figure, right? i've been sending out resumes/cover letters like a goddamn machine. and some of them have resulted in my getting snazzy phone calls. and some have required me to make a few phone calls. and this past wednesday i was home for a day of interviews and driving to some ridiculously hard-to-find places. i have no idea how they went. i'll let you know if something good happens.
- fighting with my pony. oh MAN is she a bitch lately. someone needs a hormone injection, stat.
- missing a certain asshole. cough.LAX.cough. yeah, yeah, we all saw this one coming. god help me for having a soft spot reserved for total asshole boys. one day i'll learn, though it probably won't be any day soon. he called on fat tuesday to say hi, and i missed the call because i had my phone on silent. so i saved his voicemail because i am a total loser and i like hearing him talk.
- working the ACES fair. actually, this one's tomorrow, but who's counting? hopefully, the patrons THIS year, will be smarter than those from LAST year. if not, i'll have another entertaining story.
- Sig Tau Gamma crush party. this one's tomorrow, too. now, because i am not in a sorority (though i have a few regrets about this one...i would've made an excellent "sister"), i have no idea what the hell is the concept behind this sort of thing. i went to a sorority's crush party when i was a sophomore and all i really remember from it was double-fisting pitchers of beer and wanting to smoke cigars REALLY badly. anyway, some cutie cute little fratties in SUITS showed up at my door with a snazzy invite and flowers to invite me. so maybe this a common thing, maybe not. but it's still really goddamn cute.
