Well I am through with my summer quarter. YAY! Last class was yesterday. YAY! Turned in my paper and now I have a month off of school. Fucking YAY!

JUST finished my final paper for Basic Addiction Studies. YAY me! And I get a month off of school. Thank heavens, Gods, Goddesses, the works.

Car maintenance. It's been just about 50K miles. And I needed new tires and an alignment. So I had to pay. Thank GOD they washed the car as it was filthy and really needed it. AND when I got in, I drove away and found a 60 GIG iPod in my car! WTF? Did my sons or one of their friends drop it and did on of the mechanics or car washer folks find it? ( Read more... )

Started the Winter quarter at JFK. I'm taking two of my prerequisite classes: Personality & Psychology as well as Anatomy & Physiology. Thursday, I have my third class. Whoo hah! Summer classes have started. Many elements are the same and many are different. I still have judgement on my Effective Communication teacher, but she's growing on me. That hunched over posture and smiling affect still ping my buttons. But I'm aware of it and so am playing with mitigating the reaction with chosen responses. I was dandy on the way home from workshop Sunday night. I was even dandy after I arrived home. I was (as my friend Pearl would say) all "pink and fluffy" from a very sweet and insightful weekend. I posted a blissed out post...

Tonight is the last Effective Communication class this quarter, but it continues as a class for next quarter. Just realized that I am going to STILL have a class on Thursday nights for the next few weeks because Group Process did not have a Saturday class, so ends next month (but continues as a class for next quarter as well ( Read more... )
