So, I got the good news yesterday. On my way home from painting, I grabbed the mail, and saw a big packet from Art Center that said "Congratulations." It was exciting, but in a sort of "That's great, but I pretty much knew it." sort of way. What I am really worried about is the Financial Aid decision which doesn't go out till November 15th. The tuition is $15k, and they expect living expenses to be about $6-7k. So, that will be quite a lot of money to come up with. I have about 1k in checking and savings put-together.
On the bright side, it is a lot easier going to work everyday, knowing I have an end date. The Spring term starts January 12th, so I will probably call it quits on Dec. 31st. Its downright exciting. This job has been so hard for me, I am overjoyed at the thought of leaving and not coming back.
On the other side, though, I am struck now by all the little dreads that come along with this change. Fortunately, I have 3 months or so to get ready for it. But I am worried about paying for it, having no job, whether this will change anything for me work-wise, and leaving Nath for so long. SO, there is a lot to be apprehensive about, but I am doing what I can to stay calm about it.
