Hardly Strictly
Went to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Sunday. Molly (the cuz) was playing Saturday on their Porch stage, but I had to miss for Martial Arts. (boo) But Nath and I dragged ourselves over there on Public transit Sunday, and it was fun. Lots of dirty hippies, and hipsters. But lots of great music too. We got there to catch the end of Doc Watson, then we saw Earl Scruggs, Mavis Staples, and Del McCoury. There were so many people there, you couldn't actually "see" any of the performers, and I sort of wonder if some of the people with better seats didn't sleep there over night, to ensure the best placement for the next day, but I think they'dve been shooed away.
So, anyway, it was exhausting, and I think it should be mentioned that it is definitely a BYOTP situation. Nath also grabbed some folding chairs, and I got snacks. In all, pretty good way to spend a Sunday.
