Moscow 4,5,6.

Im now in Bucharest, enjoying Roman characters again and no longer having to decipher Cyrillic. I had a 7 hour stopover in Moldova, the Chisinau International Airport being barely larger than Hobart International. A lack of food and sleep lead to it being a surreal experience to say the least. I could see the city from the 2nd floor of the terminal, but with no bag storage, i wasnt willing to haul 18kgs around of a short day trip. So i slept on the benches n kept waking up to find gorgeous Moldovan women staring at me in disgust as i dribbled into the holes punched into the sheetmetal of the terminal benches.

During days 4, 5 and 6 in Moscow we did much sightseeing. The Kremlin, Red Square, a long, long walk along the river, various trinket markets and a 10km ride on a frieght train that twelve of us jumped up onto out in the 'burbs. We were in an empty aggregate cart, so to see out we had to perch preqariously on the carts edges. It was utterly exhilarating, spesh once the train got to speed whereby we yelled and howled at passing passenger trains, before jumping off at a bridge upon realising our train was about to head off to Belarus or somesuchwhere. Prior to the frightie trip we scaled the roof of an old Soviet car plant.

We met up with Moscowhite and did the presnnya drain, from its upper reaches down to a nigh-on impassable waterfall. I ended up at the outfall of this same drain a few days later while dawdling along the river.

Quantum X, Dsankt and Flame made ritualistic trips to the nearby sushi bar each night while i darted between Maccers and the local kebab shop. Ive actually lost weight drinking endless cans of Burn and eating Twix ice creams...

The 6th day was technically a rightoff, not actually starting until after midnight. In fact the 7th day was a write off as well simply because of the UTTER AWESOMENESS that was the period between 10pm on the 6th day and 9am on the 7th day.

Im not gunna go into detail, as id rather write about it once ive got photos, but it involved a 26km long Soviet Particle Collider. So, so, much win!
