End of Summer Fun

The last week or so has been a blast! I took off two days and the girl and I hit the road. We did so many fun things and saw a lot of friends and family. Some of what we've done...
Peggy's Birthday at Haufbrau Haus. Luke's Birthday at Chuck E Cheese. Texas Rangers Game with Claudia. Hurricane Harbor. Waco Zoo. Lunch in Italy. (TX) Haha. "Up" in 3D and Ice Age 3.
And in the last week or so I have eaten at Mena's, Ninfa's, Houston's, Triumph Cafe, PF Chang's, Fogo de Chao, and The Melting Pot. Holy crap, that's a lot of good food! And even better company.
Yesterday we got the girl set up at orientation for first grade and then I handed her off to Fin for the rest of the week. After work I met up with some friends, and the new guy, at Sherlocks, and ran into malaka! Fun, fun.
So what's on the agenda for the rest of the week? A little girl-time with 90north, and possibly poker night with Sybille and the rest of the gang, and definitely some adventure. I'm planning a little hiking/picnic getaway somewhere in the hill country this weekend.
So despite a few bumps in the road this month... life is pretty darn good. :)
