I read this little blurb about Kelly Clarkson on People today, and I really liked what she said!
"Clarkson's motivation for exercising isn't to lose weight. "I do it totally for my psyche," she explains. "I'm much better when those endorphins are going. It's a release. And I also love food, so there's a payoff!"

While I don't believe in dieting anymore, I am a big fan of cleansing. I just ordered
Clean by Alejandro Junger and think it's really great so far. He outlines doing a one, two, or three week cleanse, once a year. I am going to try out the one week soon, probably after school starts.
