Anon has been keeping busy lately, between catching up on his reading - both of the network and in the libraries for research - and trying to figure out User idioms (a compulsive decision on his part). He needs a break from it for a while, and he hasn’t looked around the Residential Zones like he used to when he was the lone supporter of Flynn on the station. Perhaps it would be a good idea. If nothing else, it could count as hands-on learning in regards to User culture. And in regards to… ‘octopi’? Well, maybe it would make sense when he got to Katayama and saw the… whatevers.
Besides, it’s a perfect opportunity for doing what he does best, and figuring out how to do it in urban settings that were completely unlike the Grid. It makes it more interesting to move through the high rises and other neighborhoods.
So there he is, trotting (or wallrunning) through the Residential Zones, poking his head into various stores (regardless of the fact that no, he doesn't need clothes. Or food. Or air, for that matter), and wandering museums.
